Defined as “the distinctive atmosphere or quality that seems to surround and be generated by a person, thing, or place,” the term Aura resonated with us deeply because it’s exactly what we aim to create through every event: a feeling, a presence, an unforgettable energy that lingers long after the moment has passed.

Her career is a testament to her ability to blend creative vision with operational expertise, consistently delivering fresh, unique, and thoughtful projects. ​

With a penchant for thriving in early-stage environments, Cara has played pivotal roles in shaping successful teams and experiences from inception to execution at companies Bisnow, Summit, WeWork, and Chief where she served as the Senior Director of Programming and Events.

Cara's expertise lies in curating meaningful experiences for high caliber and executive-level leaders and diverse audiences. Her meticulous attention to detail ensures that every endeavor, whether for a small group or thousands, is nothing short of a world-class experience.

Before founding Aura Experiences, Lana led operations at Bisnow, where she scaled the company into a major events business that was acquired by private equity in 2016. She went on to serve as COO and Head of Finance at Summit Series, leveraging her deep expertise in operations and finance to deliver world-class events — all managed within seven-figure budgets.

Lana’s career has been driven by a passion for blending creativity with financial discipline. She has consistently used this combination to lead the successful execution of some of the most prestigious and exclusive business and community events.

From scaling large-scale executive conferences to launching flagship series with thousands of members, Lana brings a unique ability to anticipate needs, manage complex logistics, and maintain a sharp focus on the financial strategy required to make it all happen
